This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with either a technical background or is familiar with technical IT product terminology, who wants to use their expertise in a public relations role.
We are looking for someone with a bright, energetic personality who is a confident communicator and has strong technical writing skills.
Working in a marketing team that demands a dynamic and flexible team player, you will have the ability to develop good working relationships with journalists, editors, customers and other members of staff.
You need to demonstrate IT product technical writing skills, with the ability to easily understand, communicate and present engineering concepts, their benefits and their applications to capture the attention of the media and clients.
The role includes:
- Initiating and planning IT PR campaigns for all ASUS product range.
- Testing product and organizing internal and external training
- Writing technical copy for press releases, sales brochures, feature articles, web pages, e-newsletters and other collateral.
- Developing and managing the company presence in blog and other social media sites.
- Distributing and following PR materials and samples to relevant IT media.
- Monitoring and recording press release.
- Organizing special events e.g. Technical Seminar, Gaming event and competitions
Skills / Experience required:
- Degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline or experience in technical writing.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- Good English level required
- Ideally experience in IT media lab and/or in gaming event/product
