controladores de CD ROOM en W XP profesional

Hola!
A mi tambien me paso lo mismo, pero yo desinstale el easycd creator 5 y se me desaparecio todo el cd room y la quemadora.
Prueba esto:

bajalo y despues tienes que reiniciar la computadora!

Muchas gracias Rigoberta por responder e intentar ayudarme. He intentado entrar en la pagina que me recomiendas pero debe de estar mal porque nunca esta disponible. No he probado solamente con el link que tu me mandas, si so que ademas copie la direccion en el buscador, y no hubo manera. He probado de varias formas y sigo sin conseguirlo. Seguiré investigando. Gracias de nuevo y un saludo. Si se te ocurre alguna otra cosa no dudes en comunicarmelo.

Click Start, right-click My Computer, and click Properties.

Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Click the plus sign (+) next to DVD/CD-Rom drives.

Right-click the drive's name and click Properties.

Look inside the Device Status section on the General tab. If error code 19, 31, 32, or 39 is displayed inside Device Status, a problem exists with the interaction/integration of previous CD burning software and Windows. Continue troubleshooting.

If there is no error message listed, discontinue this step and go to the next section: The CD drive is missing or behaves erratically.
Click Start, and then Run. In the Open field, type: Regedit

Click OK.

For system safety, make a backup of the registry:

Click My Computer at the top of the list, then click File, then Export.

Browse to a folder that is easy to access, such as My Documents.

Type a filename that is easy to remember, such as RegBackup.

Click Save to back up the registry. It may take up to a minute for the file to export.

Click the small plus sign (+) next to each of the following folders, in order:

HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE, SYSTEM

CurrentControlSet

Control

Class

{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}


Right-click UpperFilters from the right side of the window and click Delete.

Exit Registry Editor and restart the computer. If full CD writing functionality has not been restored, it may be necessary to reinstall the CD writing software.
